# Plocky — your AI assistant

Plocky is the AI assistant built into Plock. You find it under **Plocky** in the main navigation, and it is available to every user — no separate setup, no extra account.

Plocky answers questions using your live Plock data, and it can also produce things: tables, reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and prepared changes waiting for your approval.

## What you can ask about

Plocky reads the same data you see in the app:

* **Accounts** — your end customers, their revenue, fees and tags
* **Subscriptions** — items, states, billing practice, rebates, and any pending scheduled changes
* **Invoices** — amounts, periods, payment status and due dates
* **Product usage** — collected usage per account and product for the last 12 months
* **Products and price plans** — what you sell and how it's priced
* **Reporting metrics** — MRR, CMRR, Committed ARR, Contracted ARR (CARR), Usage ARR, Run-Rate ARR, movements (new, expansion, contraction, churn) and retention
* **The documentation** — Plocky searches these guides, so "how does group billing work?" gets a real answer rather than a guess

## What it can produce

**Tables.** Ask for a list or a breakdown and Plocky renders it as a table in the chat, with KPI cards and export buttons.

**Reports.** Ask for a PDF and Plocky writes a branded Plock report — for a board pack, a QBR, or an internal review.

**Presentations.** Ask for a slide deck and you get a downloadable PowerPoint file.

**Spreadsheets and exports.** Ask for a spreadsheet and Plocky offers an XLSX download or a Google Sheet. Larger exports — accounts, subscriptions, products, invoices, subscription items — can be sent to your email address or straight to Google Sheets.

{% hint style="info" %}
The first time you choose a Google Sheets destination, Plocky gives you a link to grant access to your Google account.
{% endhint %}

## Things it can do for you

Plocky isn't only read-only. It can also:

* **Turn a signed agreement PDF into a subscription** — see below
* **Create a product** on your account
* **Create a licensed price plan** for an existing product
* **Preview a subscription change** — Plocky shows current items against the proposed ones as a card, and nothing is applied until you confirm

Anything that changes your data is either explicitly confirmed by you or a straightforward creation you asked for. Plocky never deletes anything.

## From agreement PDF to subscription

Drop a signed agreement or order form into the chat and Plocky reads it, then shows you what it found as a card to check before anything is created:

* **The subscription** — name, start and end date, billing interval and practice, notice period, auto-renewal, indexation and currency
* **The line items** — matched against your existing products and price plans, with quantities and any discounts
* **Later price changes** — pricing that only applies from year two onwards is added as scheduled changes on the right date, rather than mixed into the current items
* **The account** — legal name, organisation and VAT number, billing email, contact person and address, if the account does not exist in Plock yet

Alongside the card, Plocky lists its **review findings** — line items it could not match to a plan, a missing billing email or organisation number, no currency in the document, an open-ended contract — so you know exactly which fields to check yourself.

Review it, then click **Create subscription**, or skip it. Nothing is written to Plock until you confirm.

{% hint style="info" %}
The same agreement parsing is available outside the chat, as part of the subscription creation flow.
{% endhint %}

## Getting good answers

* **Be specific about the period.** "Churn in April" and "churn in Q1" are different questions, and Plocky answers them differently — a quarter counts each account once rather than once per month.
* **Name the metric you mean.** In Plock, "Committed ARR" is MRR × 12 — what most people simply call ARR. "Contracted ARR" (CARR) is forward-looking. If you say just "ARR", Plocky assumes Committed ARR.
* **Ask follow-ups.** Plocky keeps the context of the conversation, so you can narrow down ("only the Nordic accounts") or change the shape ("same thing as a spreadsheet") without repeating yourself.

## Try asking

* "What was our MRR movement last quarter?"
* "Which accounts expanded the most in April?"
* "Show unpaid invoices for account X."
* "List usage per product for the last six months as a table."
* "Build me a PDF report on retention for the last 12 months."
* "What would it cost this account if I move them to the new plan?"

## Good to know

* Every question is scoped to your own organisation's data — Plocky cannot see another customer's account.
* Figures are read live at the time you ask, so they match the rest of the app.
* Report, presentation and spreadsheet generation has a fair-use daily limit per user. If you hit it, Plocky tells you and you can continue the next day.
