Our scheduling feature allows you to automate changes to any customer subscription in advance of the effective date. You can easily schedule future price changes, adjust future rebate levels, or modify subscription changes to take effect on the renewal date when your team did closed a nice upsell.
Key Benefits with Scheduling:
Flexibility: Schedule changes in advance, reducing manual work and errors.
Automation: Changes are automatically applied at the set time, streamlining the process.
Audit: Make adjustments that align with your client’s needs on renewal or any other agreed date, and keep full audit of the product and pricing history.
Schedule a Price Change A customer’s consumption of number of seats is much higher than expected when the subscription started and they’ve requested a change in their package. You can schedule this adjustment to happen on a future date, ensuring their subscription matches the new agreement without any additional action. In this example, our customer Acme is consuming many more seats that expected, and they agreed on a new base tier that includes up to 1500 seats at a new monthly flat fee 4,300 EUR. For any exceeding number of seats, they will continue to pay 3 EUR per seat.
Here is a step by step guide for scheduling this change to take place on 1st of Jan 2025.
Go to the customer’s subscription page and click on "Schedule a Change."
Choose the date for the change, in this example 1st of January 2025.
Select the product for which you want to schedule a change. In this example we want to change the base tier for the product "Users".
We're directed into an edit window, where we can edit the tiers for our customer Acme. Any changes using the Plock Scheduling Feature, will only be applied to the subscription for which you are scheduling a change.
Confirm the details and save. You return to the subscription details view, and your current price and upcoming change in price for product "Users" is highlighted. Note, in the time line to the right, your upcoming change shows up in the correct time order.
